“As I stood in front of the mirror in the beautiful little black dress, I knew that I was looking at a woman whom I would never see again. I wished I had never seen her in the first place, but the truth is she had always been there. I was being dishonest to myself by pretending that she hadn't.”
Jane L. RosenNine Women, One Dress

Valentine’s day is coming and whilst many of you feel it is a rip off and refuse the celebrate it (even though you celebrate other rip off holidays like Christmas and new year- did I say there is no judgment from me? “clears throat”), many people do take that opportunity to appreciate/remember/enjoy the love that they share. For some women, it means dressing up and for others, it means dressing down (;-p). not forgetting those that want to snooze in the PJ’s. This outfit is for those who want that WOW factor. The dress that is guaranteed to turn heads and make your other half want to take you home immediately. Screw dinner!! Bonus, you can wear this again for your cocktail party or a night out clubbing.

The little black dress is courtesy of TOBI Collection from When I put on this outfit, I felt like I had transformed from scrubs lady to seductress. The dress fits like a glove and the fabric is thick enough to hide any lines and hold any folds in (win win). Bonus points for its affordability and it comes in several colours; one of which is red!!

I paired this dress with red shoes not because it’s a Valentine’s Day post but because black and red are always a winning combination. The pop of red  draws the eye from the neckline to legs. You do want the whole outfit appreciated.

To accessorize, I went for simple dangling earrings and nothing else. The neckline was daring enough and needed no distractions. I do have to say, this dress is more suited for those with smaller cup sizes and shorter ladies will look incredibly fabulous in it too. I completely ignored the rule of chest or legs. Fashion rules are meant to be broken: remember that.
